Mattress covers and mattress protectors come in a variety of materials, primarily chosen based on usage needs (such as dust protection, water resistance, mite prevention, and comfort). Here are some common and recommended material types:

1. Pure Cotton Fabric

Features: Moisture-wicking, breathable, soft, and skin-friendly, suitable for sensitive skin.

Suitable Scenarios: Daily dust protection and enhanced comfort, especially suitable for those who sleep naked or have high requirements for tactile feel.

Note: Poor water resistance; recommended to use with a waterproof layer.

2. Bamboo Fiber Fabric

Features: Naturally antibacterial, deodorizing, and more breathable than pure cotton; regulates temperature and humidity.

Suitable Scenarios: Suitable for humid areas or summer use, suitable for those prone to sweating.

Recommendation: Consider a bamboo fiber and cotton blend for a balance of durability and comfort.

3. Waterproof TPU Fabric

Features: Completely blocks liquid penetration; food-grade TPU thickness between 0.2–0.4 mm, balancing waterproofing and breathability.

Suitable for: Children's rooms, elderly care facilities, pet-friendly homes, or environments with a risk of liquid contamination.

Structure: Mostly a three-layer composite design, with a waterproof membrane in the middle and knitted fabric on both sides for enhanced comfort.

4. Anti-mite Fabric

Physical anti-mite: High-density weave prevents mites from penetrating.

Chemical anti-mite: Contains natural mite-repellent agents and requires international anti-mite certification.

Suitable for: Individuals with allergies such as asthma and rhinitis.
